He is widely acknowledged as an innovative, market-oriented banker and strategic thinker with a strong transformational leadership outlook, and is recognized for championing affordable housing in India and shaping its policy framework.
He served as an Independent Director on the boards of several leading companies, including DCB Bank, Binani Cement, Jubilant Life Sciences, Strides Arcolab, and GVFL Trustee Company, as well as India Infoline Housing Finance Ltd. He also provides strategic advisory services to financial sector institutions.
In addition, he has served — and continues to serve — on various national-level committees and task forces involved in framing policy for the financial sector.
Mr. Kishor Kharat is a highly respected banker and financial sector leader with over 41 years of professional banking experience. He served as Managing Director and CEO of IDBI Bank and Indian Bank, and is widely recognized for his leadership and strategic expertise in the financial sector. He currently serves as Principal Partner of AMRO BUCONS, a reputed financial services firm headquartered in Pune.
He also serves as an Independent Director of IB Group and as Chairman of the Board of CFM Asset Reconstruction Company (ARC).
With his extensive knowledge of banking, finance, and corporate strategy, Mr. Kharat continues to guide organizations toward sustainable growth and sound financial management.
Mr. Shanmugam is an analytical, result-oriented professional with over 35 years of experience in the banking and financial services sector, serving a wide range of clients across industries.
He brings proven expertise in trade finance, project finance, legal and compliance matters, resolution of stressed assets, and industrial relations. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated strong leadership and deep domain knowledge in managing complex financial and operational challenges. Mr. Shanmugam served Indian Bank in its Top Executive Cadre, where he handled large-scale banking operations and managed business portfolios running into thousands of crores of rupees.
He currently serves as an Advisor to EXIM Bank (Export-Import Bank of India) and as a consultant on banking and financial matters for M/s.Agrud Partners, a leading Mumbai-based law firm practising before the High Court of Mumbai and the Supreme Court of India.
Mr. Vignesh Rajan is an entrepreneur and financial services professional with extensive experience in project implementation, infrastructure, and financial advisory. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore.
He began his career with the SPIC Group as a Project Engineer on the implementation of a PFY/PTA project in Chennai. Building on his industry experience and financial acumen, he established a consultancy focused on financial advisory in 2012, helping companies raise debt from banks and financial institutions for capital expenditure and working capital needs. His advisory work also extends to resolving stressed assets through Alternate Investment Funds (AIFs) and providing strategic financial management solutions to businesses.
Recognizing the growing opportunity in stressed asset resolution, Mr. Rajan founded Jeevan ARC in January 2017 to address the banking industry’s need for enforcement and resolution of stressed assets, in partnership with institutional investors.
The firm is supported by a professional team of retired senior bank officials and experienced financial professionals, who form its core advisory and operational team.
Mr. Kiran Kumar Kataria is an experienced businessman based in Chennai, with over 20 years of experience in business and financial dealings. He comes from a reputed Jain family known for its philanthropic initiatives, including the establishment and support of old-age homes and goshalas in their native village in Rajasthan.
His family has been settled in Chennai for over three generations, building strong relationships and networks across the business community.
Mr. Kataria brings valuable expertise in facilitating financial arrangements and mobilizing resources for the acquisition of assets, particularly through bank auctions and private treaty routes. His extensive network and business relationships enable him to effectively support asset acquisition opportunities across Tamil Nadu and other parts of India.
